History is written by the victors and society’s perception of the truth is skewed by the dominant authority of the time; as a Jewish woman it has been disheartening to see the prejudice and persecution of my people repeated time and time again as past anti-Semitism has given rise to modern anti-Semitism and pop culture, and the only way to move forward past all of this is to learn from the past. As a way of helping to facilitate this understanding, I crafted a website to house to help rewrite my history. I have coded a website that has compiled anti-Semitic writing and policies over the years as a way of critically examining this sort of rhetoric and giving audiences the opportunity to understand and analyze anti-Semitic tones in literature, politics, and culture.
