History is constantly being remade through the repetition of it in our present day lives. We learn of the Civil Rights Movement, Women’s Rights Movement, and Labor Union Strikes in our history classes as if they are a problem of the past. But these events are still occurring in our present day and will continue into our future. We are doomed to be repeating our mistakes in a world where wealth is valued more than lives.
