On The Road, Digital Photography, 21.6 x 14.4, 2020

These past months have been very difficult to many people, especially me. The only way for me to keep my mind sane is by taking lots of photos and creating new art projects for myself to keep busy. This Pandemic has changed the way we live and work. I wanted to shoot how much space that this quarantine has given us and the emptiness it feels. While being on the road I looked at the world with a fresh pair of eyes and I started to see many things that I normally don’t see being in a car. I felt it was funny seeing someone in their car and still alive or at least still living their lives. The movement of the car represents the world is still in motion and has never stopped, even though the world is going into chaos. Everything seems so contained but safe in our vehicles and it represents the kind of situation we are all in. This series, “On The Road” is an ongoing project and I hope to see where it will take me even after the Pandemic. “The most chaotic moments in our lives are the spark of our inspirations.”
